About One Year Career

The Stupid Idea That Might Actually Work

Everyone tells you to pick one thing. Focus. Go deep. Don't spread yourself thin.

This project does the exact opposite.

One Year Career is an experiment to push 15 (maybe more over time, maybe less) brands simultaneously to hit salary-level money within 365 days. Not theory. Not a course about it. Actually doing it, in public, with all the numbers visible.

Why? Because I'm tired of the conventional wisdom that says you have to pick one thing and ignore everything else you're interested in. Because I think multiple income streams is smarter than betting everything on one horse. And because doing something audacious enough to be interesting is worth more than playing it safe.

What This Actually Is

Starting from day one, I'm building and pushing multiple brands at the same time. Some are new. Some already exist but aren't making much. The goal is to get them collectively earning $5k-7k per month by day 365.

Everything is tracked on a public dashboard. Revenue per brand. Time invested. What's working. What's dying. The whole thing.

Every week there's an update. Not the highlight reel version. The real version. The "I fucked this up" version. The "I'm not sure this is going to work" version. And yeah, sometimes the "holy shit this is actually working" version.

Why You Might Care

If you have multiple interests and you're tired of being told to pick just one, this is for you.

If you're curious whether someone can actually pull off multiple income streams without losing their mind, watch and find out.

If you want to see the systems that make managing multiple projects possible, I'm documenting all of it.

If you believe in building in public and you want to see someone do it with complete transparency, including the financial numbers most people hide, you're in the right place.

If you just think this sounds like an interesting train wreck to observe, cool. I respect that.

What Makes This Different

Most people who build in public are working on one thing. They share the wins and quietly pivot away from the losses. They talk about revenue in vague terms once they're already successful.

This is different.

Multiple brands at once. Real-time decisions. Actual revenue numbers updated regularly. Failures documented as they happen. A hard 365-day deadline that doesn't move no matter what.

It's not a course. It's not a framework I'm selling you. It's an experiment I'm running and bringing you along for.

The Honest Part

This might fail. Some of the brands definitely will. Maybe all of them. Maybe I don't hit the revenue goal.

That's fine.

If I document it honestly, the failure is still interesting. The lessons are still valuable. The attempt itself is still worth watching.

The worst outcome isn't failure. It's being boring. And there's no way this is boring.

Who’s Behind This

I'm Paul Scrivens (Scrivs). I've built and sold businesses. I've launched products that worked and products that died quietly. I've been building things on the internet for longer than I care to admit.

I'm not a guru. I'm not going to tell you I have all the answers. I'm just someone willing to try something most people think is impossible and document what happens.

What Happens Next

The dashboard is goes live on November 1st. The clock is running. The brands are being built and pushed.

You can watch the numbers. Read the weekly updates. See what works and what doesn't. If you want to try your own version, go for it. If you just want to lurk and see if I pull it off, that works too.

365 days. Multiple brands. Salary-level money. All of it public.

Let's see what happens.
